Business Analyst / Junior Developer


Location: Head office Serbia, Romania or Zaandam and partially from home

Fixed-term contract

Key activities:

  • Translate business requirement into HR templates for the implementation of our new HR Platform within 5 different countries (PeopleDoc and SAP SuccessFactors);
  • Participate in Development team, responsible for building our enabling technology (PeopleDoc, WalkMe and Office365 applications);
  • Stakeholder management: manage the relation with a group of stakeholders and ensure functional solution alignment with business and process requirements (global and local);
  • Development and testing digital guiding tools for an adaptive user experience of our new HR platform (WalkMe);
  • Developing, testing, deploying and maintaining a SharePoint request application and knowledge database with a EU template with possible localizations;
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing solutions for WalkMe and PeopleDoc;
  • Training and showcasing the possibilities of WalkMe and PeopleDoc.


As a Business analyst / junior developer in the EU Innovation & Projects team, you will have a key role in one of our biggest innovative European projects, working with colleagues from all our European brands. This role will enable you to combine analytical skills with creativity and development capabilities to configure our enabling technology. On the specific solutions WalkMe & PeopleDoc you will receive the required training, in the development you will use mostly CSS, Jquery and HTML. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help connect and build solutions in our new HR IT landscape.


Your new workplace 

The team you will be a part of is within our European Business Services (EBS) organization. EBS provides an array of professional services in the domain of HR, Finance and Not for Resale Sourcing, which are characterized by high volumes, both multi-brand and multi-country. European Business Services HR (EBS HR) is part of EBS and provides its HR services to our retail brands in Europe. The goal of EBS HR is to create time and value for our stakeholders and their business, allowing them to focus on the customer and their brand’s growth and profitability.  


Your job 

The position is part of the EU Innovation & Projects team of European Business Services HR. During your first project you will be one of the key players implementing a new HR system across our European brands that will take approximately until spring 2023 to complete. During this project, you will work together with content experts from our European Brands.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Translating business challenges to user friendly and intuitive solutions leveraging software from our partners (WalkMe, PeopleDoc & Microsoft);
  • Developing, testing and evaluating new solutions;
  • Developing quality assurance procedures;
  • Deploying processes and metrics;
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing solutions;
  • Training and showcasing possibilities to content experts;
  • Stakeholder management: manages the relation with a group of stakeholders and ensure functional solution alignment with business and process requirements (global and local).

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, Human resources or Business administration;
  • A proven track record in working as a front-end developer or working with Content management systems;
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role within a mid-sized or large organization;
  • A strong services and business orientation which helps you understand the challenges a brand might face;
  • Good reporting skills, you're able to produce analyses and present your work to both teammates and MT;
  • Fluent control of the English language, both verbally and in writing. 


You also have the following competences: 

  • You are solution-oriented and tackle every challenge; a ‘can do’ mentality;
  • Strong in stakeholder management, where you’re able to switch between different layers of a department/organization/brand and keep your own team updated;
  • You work systematically. You find it important that solutions are properly administered and that all documents are easy to find;

  • You possess strong communication skills.
